The next Frd Mustang GT500 will really be fast, high in volume, and will
glimpse awesome. But irrespective of some rumblings via our sources
along with previous GT500 traveler shots, we haven’t had solid specifics
of the underhood plans so far.
These three fresh interior shots
incorporate a glimpse at the following GT500’s tachometer, which in turn
sports an indicated redline of 6500 rpm. That’s up from 6250 inside the
2014 GT500. The tach also usually indicate the existence of an 7000-rpm
overrev area, as in the actual model.
This helps confirm
intelligence that Ford use an updated version on the supercharged
Trinity V-8 for that hottest-to-trot Mustang, which output isn’t gonna
change much. As well as that’s just great, as the 662 hp and 631 lb-ft
of torque from the current GT500 produces ample forward thrust—once
anyone stop roasting the particular tires in first, second, and 3 rd
gears—and remains brain and shoulders over the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1’s
580 hp and 580 lb-ft. Perhaps Dodge, with it's freshly unveiled,
600-plus-hp supercharged Opposition Hellcat, is unlikely to present that
much power in the factory.
Other obvious bits include
high-backed racing-style car seats with fixed scalp restraints, a
cue-ball shift knob for that standard manual tranny, and a no-frills
head unit. Expect the GT500 show up next year as being a 2016 model, and
for many people more details for being revealed in this interim.
